fun sized

Call it gym, P.E., recess, or pure hell, most people have participated in a class at school that focused on games and athletics. What sport or game did you hate the most when you were a kid? What sport or game was your favorite?

I hated volleyball!  I made a B in health/PE once all because I failed the volleyball test.  I didn't like much in PE in high school.  In younger grades I liked free play on the playground.  Tennis is ok, but we never played it at school.  In college aerobics was a good PE class; dance would have been ok too.

I was just thinking about the fact that you get graded on the stuff- and it counts the same as your other grade...you the heck cares if you were a good volleyball player? How does that have the same weight as advanced chemistry?
I am on a one woman mission to make it completely voluntary and instead of trying to make kids work out (as that is one of the reasons the have it) offer credit for things outside of school like yoga/karate/dance...etc/ And also take all that crap off the school menus....
I was lke "daria" when it came to school gym...hated it. But danced every night- I was in amazing condition- that should have counted- I worked out harder that any of those other mean girls LOL...:)
